After a meeting with organisers of the Tweed Salmon Queen, the Berwick Chamber of Trade were delighted to donate £1000 to help towards the cost of next year’s event.

Sharon Johnston had this to say:

A few weeks ago we were invited to attend a committee meeting with Berwick Chamber Of Trade and chat about our plans for next year's Crowning Week, We discussed how it's been up to now and what our hopes are for the coming years.

We received lovely feedback and praise that night on our efforts so far and were delighted to receive an email the next day from Stephen Scott announcing that the Berwick Chamber of Trade were happy to support us and help kick start our fundraising financially with a cheque for £1,000! 

Today Mae, Bernadette & Stephen met to get a great photo on the quayside & present their cheque to us. 

Once again we thank you all for this fantastic amount.
