Create Berwick // Professional Development Workshops for Creative Practitioners

These free workshops are for creative people living or working in and around Berwick who want to benefit from, and contribute to, the creative regeneration of the town.

They are a key component of Create Berwick, a major cultural regeneration initiative taking place in the town which aims to establish Berwick as a renowned arts town and celebrated cultural destination that supports its creative communities to develop and thrive. Create North is delighted to have been commissioned by Northumberland County Council to support the development of this a four year culture led regeneration programme for funded by NTCA.

We will be kicking off activity in June and will be hosting workshops throughout the summer and into autumn and winter 2023. The programme of workshops is not set in stone and we will be designing further sessions in response to need. To get the ball rolling, details of the first three workshops are outlined below, with more to follow soon.

All of the workshops have been designed with creative people in mind and will be festooned with opportunities to spend time with other creatives, build your networks and find out more about what the regeneration programme will offer.

Please feel free to join us at as many workshops as you like.
